100K+™ Rad Hard Solutions for Medium and High Power Applications

MDI’s 100K+ technology eliminates sole source delivery bottlenecks. It is now available for medium and high-power radiation hardened applications at power levels that are higher than can be satisfied by hybrid packaging technology.

Medium power (above 100 Watts) andhigh power (above 1 kW) applications include:

• Electric propulsion power supplies
• Solar array converters and regulators
• Main bus DC-DC conversion
• Medium and high-power payloads
• Ideal for small satellites or scientific satellites

100K+ technology does not use hard-to-get sole–source devices, does not rely on ineffective radiation shielding, and does not incorporate any semiconductor devices with capabilities that exceed ITAR thresholds. MDI’s certified ITAR freeunits simplify export considerations for international applications.

All 100K+ medium and high-power units are high-reliability discrete assemblies which are produced to meet specific customer-generated requirements and specifications within the following parameters:

• Power level to 20 kW
• Input/Output voltage to 500 VDC
• Total dose to 200 kRads
• SEE to LET of 82 MeV/mg-cm2
• Resistant to proton/neutron fluence
