Modular Devices, Inc. Offers Rad Harden DC-DC Converters

Modular Devices offers a standard line of rad harden dc-dc converters for commercial and military space applications. They provide a product line of radiation harden power converters from 2.5 watts to 80 watts. MDI offers two space grades for their 100KRAD power converter that utilize “H” or “K” class components. They several options for their standard space power converter line including solder welded or seam welded hybrid power converter packaging. 

Each standard “off-the-shelf” high efficiency DC-DC converters incorporates a MIL-STD-461 EMI filter for each module.

Space Features
  • Rad Hard: TID > 100kRad (Si)
  • 2:1 margin: Operates beyond 200kRad TID
  • No SEE:LET > 82MeV*cm2/mg
  • Proton Resistant: No Optocouplers Used

Standard Power: 2.5W, 5W, 6.5W, 10W, 20W, 30W, 40W, & 80W Converters

Standard Inputs: 12V, 28V, 50V, 70V, 100V, 120V, & 270V

Standard Outputs: 1.8Vdc to 48Vdc – Single, Dual and Triple Output Modules
